Interesuje się interdyscyplinarnym łączeniem humanistyki i nauk społecznych z projektowaniem i działaniami artystycznymi, zarówno w badaniach, jak i edukacji. Aktualny obszar badań to antropologia wytwarzania oraz związane z nią poznanie i wiedza: umiejętności, wiedza ciała, materiały i procesy; tradycje wytwarzania a dziedzictwo niematerialne. Zajmuje się też antropologiczną refleksją nad sztuką, zwłaszcza społecznym konstruowaniem sztuki ludowej i prymitywnej, a także materialnością i wartościowaniem rzeczy uznawanych za dizajn, sztukę, zabytek, eksponat muzealny.

Anthropologist, translator, curator, Habilitated Doctor, Professor at the Faculty of Design at SWPS University. She is interested in the interdisciplinary integration of the humanities and social sciences with design and artistic practice, both in research and education. Her current research area focuses on the anthropology of production and related cognition and knowledge: skills, embodied knowledge, materials, and processes; production traditions and intangible heritage. She also engages in anthropological reflections on art, particularly the social construction of folk and primitive art, as well as the materiality and cultural evaluation of objects recognized as design, art, cultural heritage, or museum exhibits.
