Projektantka, kuratorka i producentka wielu wystaw, która zaskakująco potrafi połączyć oczywiste z nieoczywistym oraz nowoczesne wzornictwo z tradycyjnymi rzemiosłami z regionu Dolnego Śląska. Dyplom zrealizowała na Wydziale Ceramiki i Szkła wrocławskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Eugeniusza Gepperta. Ukończyła Studia Podyplomowe „Projektowanie Wzornicze w Zarządzaniu Rozwojem Nowego Produktu” realizowane przy współpracy Głównej Szkoły Handlowej i Instytutu Wzornictwa Przemysłowego w Warszawie. Studiowała również komunikację graficzną na Uniwersytecie w Wolverhampton (UK). W 2022 r. obroniła z wyróżnieniem pracę doktorską „Wokół stołu. Wpływ tradycyjnych technik wytwarzania na współczesne formy użytkowe” na wrocławskiej ASP. Stypendystka Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Kamionkowe naczynia jej autorstwa były częścią głośnego projektu „Polski Stół” prezentowanego na wielu wystawach krajowych i zagranicznych. Projekt otrzymał nagrodę Must Have podczas Łódź Design Festival, podobnie jak kolekcja „Lata 60.” z 2020 roku, kolekcja HopOnTop w 2021r. i kolekcja „Dywany z Bolesławca” z 2022r. Kolekcja „Blue Line - Modern” gościła na wystawach we Włoszech i Niemczech, natomiast kolekcja „Roses” została wybrana do prezentacji w Alei Trendów podczas Targów Ambiente 2019 we Frankfurcie. Magda Wielokrotnie występowała w roli kuratorki na Łódź Design Festival - m.in. przy wystawach „ON The Table” na ŁDF2019, „Kółko / Kropka / Kreska” na ŁDF2018 czy „Akord. Praca, precyzja, produkt” na ŁDF2017. W krótkim okresie zajmowała stanowisko Komisarza Międzynarodowego Pleneru Ceramiczno-Rzeźbiarskiego w Bolesławcu. Obecnie pracuje na stanowisku głównego projektanta w „Manufakturze” w Bolesławcu, jest wykładowcą w Katedrze Działań Interdyscyplinarnych w Ceramice i Szkle na wrocławskiej ASP a także współpracuje z Muzeum Narodowym we Wrocławiu jako scenografka wystaw czasowych.

Designer, curator, and producer of numerous exhibitions, who has the rare ability to combine the obvious with the unexpected, as well as contemporary design with traditional crafts from the Lower Silesia region. She graduated from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She completed postgraduate studies in “Design Management in New Product Development” organized in cooperation with the Warsaw School of Economics and the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw. She also studied graphic communication at the University of Wolverhampton (UK). In 2022, she defended with distinction her doctoral dissertation “Around the Table. The Influence of Traditional Manufacturing Techniques on Contemporary Functional Forms” at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She is a recipient of the scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Her stoneware vessels were part of the acclaimed project “Polish Table”, presented at many national and international exhibitions. The project received the Must Have award at the Łódź Design Festival, as did her “The 60s” collection (2020), the HopOnTop collection (2021), and the “Carpets from Bolesławiec” collection (2022). Her “Blue Line – Modern” collection was shown at exhibitions in Italy and Germany, while the “Roses” collection was selected for presentation in the Trend Avenue during Ambiente 2019 in Frankfurt. Magda has repeatedly appeared as a curator at the Łódź Design Festival, including for the exhibitions “ON The Table” (ŁDF2019), “Circle / Dot / Line” (ŁDF2018), and “Accord. Work, Precision, Product” (ŁDF2017). For a short period, she held a position of Commissioner of the International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium in Bolesławiec. She is currently head designer at Manufaktura in Bolesławiec, a lecturer at the Department of Interdisciplinary Activities in Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, and collaborates with the National Museum in Wrocław as a set designer for temporary exhibitions.
