Członek Grupy Koordynującej przy European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, inicjatywy Komisji Europejskiej oraz Europejskiego Komitetu Społeczno-Gospodarczego. Ekspert grupy roboczej ds. gospodarki obiegu zamkniętego Krajowej Inteligentnej Specjalizacji przy Ministerstwie Rozwoju i Technologii. Od lat związana ze środowiskiem NGO, przez wiele lat pracowała dla WWF. Inicjatorka i koordynatorka Polish Circular Hotspot, (platformy mającej na celu podejmowanie działań i łączenie różnych grup interesariuszy na rzecz zmian cyrkularnych w Polsce) oraz paneuropejskiej kampanii edukacyjnej „Circular Week”. Realizuje liczne projekty we współpracy z samorządami lokalnymi na rzecz implementacji strategii cyrkularnych dla miast, m.in. wspólnie z Fundacją Metabolic jest liderem projektu Circular Cities w ramach którego opracowane zostały strategie cyrkularne dla 3 polskich miast pod kątem ich cyrkularności i możliwości zamykania obiegów. Autorka licznych raportów i artykułów m.in. „Środowiskowe aspekty eko-projektowania”, „Opracowanie metodyki i identyfikacja wskaźników gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym dla gospodarki Polski w ujęciu regionalnym”, „Metodologia dopasowania cyrkularnych modeli biznesowych do priorytetowych sektorów wdrażania gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym w Polsce”.

Agnieszka Sznyk PhD is the President of the Board at INNOWO, the Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development in Warsaw, Poland. Member of Council of Advisors operating under the President of the Łukasiewicz Centre. Economy expert at Circular Economy Working Group under the National Smart Specializations (NSS) appointed by the Steering Committee, which consists of the representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Economic Development, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy in Poland. Member of Coordinating group of European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform. She holds a PhD in Life Sciences and is an expert in the fields of sustainable production and consumption, circular economy and healthcare economics in Poland. Agnieszka has been connected with nongovernmental organizations for many years, notably as a founder and manager of the Polish Circular Hotspot and the international educational campaign Circular Week. She is an author of numerous reports including: „Environmental aspects of eco-design” (August 2020), „Development of methodology and indicators for various business sectors with regards to circular economy from the regional perspective” (December 2019), “Methodology for matching circular business models to priority sector implementation” (December 2019), “Plastics in circular economy” (May 2020).

INNOWO (the Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development) is a foundation, non-governmental organization and a THINK-to-DO TANK established to support the development of innovation and implementation of systemic changes for the purpose of sustainable socio-economic progress. Circular Economy is the main field of interest and expertise of INNOWO. The organization supports decision-makers in identifying effective legislative and policy instruments to engage businesses and consumers in achieving a significant and lasting change towards sustainable production and consumption.
