Tomek Rygalik

Projektant, wykładowca, kurator i doktor sztuki. Studiował architekturę na Politechnice Łódzkiej. Absolwent wydziału wzornictwa przemysłowego na Pratt Institute w Nowym Jorku. Po ukończeniu studiów na Royal College of Art w Londynie w 2005 roku został pracownikiem naukowym w zespole badawczo-rozwojowym przy RCA. W 2006 roku założył Studio Rygalik. Prowadzi pracownię projektowania i jest kierownikiem studiów magisterskich na Wydziale Wzornictwa ASP w Warszawie. Współpracuje m.in. z Moroso, Noti, Comforty, Paged, Ghidini, Cappellini, Profim, Ideal Standard, Siemens, Heineken czy Ikea. Od 2010 pełni funkcję dyrektora kreatywnego czołowych polskich marek. Realizuje wiele projektów dla instytucji kultury, m.in. Instytutu Adama Mickiewicza, Opery Narodowej, Muzeum POLIN, BOZAR, Zachęty, Muzeum Fryderyka Chopina, Muzeum Narodowego, Instytutów Kultury Polskiej. Był architektem polskiej prezydencji w Radzie UE. Wiele jego projektów stanowi część wystawy stałej Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie. W 2015 założył markę TRE Product, a od 2016 roku współtworzy interdyscyplinarną platformę Design Nature i kreatywny kampus w Sobolach.

Designer, lecturer and curator with a PhD in arts. He studied architecture at the Lodz University of Technology and graduated from the Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in New York. Having completed his studies at the Royal College of Art in London in 2005, he joined the university R&D team as a researcher. In 2006, he founded Studio Rygalik. He runs a design studio and is Head of MA studies at the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He cooperates with, inter alia, Moroso, Noti, Comforty, Paged, Ghidini, Cappellini, Profim, Ideal Standard, Siemens, Heineken and Ikea. Since 2010, he has been creative director of leading Polish brands. He implements many projects for cultural institutions, including the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, National Opera, POLIN Museum, BOZAR, Zachęta, Fryderyk Chopin Museum, National Museum and Polish Cultural Institutes. He was the architect of the Polish EU Council Presidency. Many of his projects are presented in the permanent exhibition of the National Museum in Warsaw. In 2015, he established the TRE Product brand and since 2016, he has been developing the Design Nature interdisciplinary platform and the creative campus in Sobole.
