Powołany przez Komisję Europejską na funkcję Digital EU Ambassador. Prezes Instytutu Lema. Prorektor ds. innowacji Wyższej Szkoły Bankowej w Warszawie. W latach 2019-2021 dziekan Wydziału Przedsiębiorczości i Innowacji Wyższej Szkoły Bankowej Warszawie. Od 2017 do 2019 r. dyrektor departamentu zarządzania danymi w Ministerstwie Cyfryzacji odpowiadający za sektor innowacji i wdrażanie do polskiego porządku prawnego RODO. Absolwent Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego w Krakowie. Studiował również na Uniwersytecie w Sztokholmie oraz Uniwersytecie J.W. Goethego we Frankfurcie nad Menem. Ukończył z wyróżnieniem Europejską Akademię Dyplomacji. W 2017 r. laureat nagrody specjalnej za wkład w reformę ochrony danych osobowych w konkursie Prawników Liderów Jutra Dziennika Gazety Prawnej i Wydawnictwa Wolters Kluwer. W 2018 r. zajął 23. miejsce w rankingu 50 najbardziej wpływowych prawników w Polsce Dziennika Gazety Prawnej, w 2019 awansował w tym samym rankingu na 15. pozycję, zostając uznanym „twarzą RODO w Polsce”. Autor cyklu technologicznego w programie Dzień Dobry TVN, podcastu redakcji Onet oraz Komputer Świat „Technicznie Rzecz Biorąc”.

Appointed by the European Commission as the Digital EU Ambassador and President of the Lem Institute, as well as Vice-rector for innovation at the WSB University in Warsaw.

From 2017 to 2019, he was the director of the data management department at the Ministry of Digitization and responsible for the innovation sector and implementation of the GDPR in the Polish legal system. Then from 2019 to 2021, he served as the dean of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the WSB University in Warsaw.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, he also studied at the University of Stockholm and the University of J.W. Goethe in Frankfurt am Main. He graduated with honors from the European Academy of Diplomacy.

In 2017, he was awarded a special award for his contribution to the reform of personal data protection in the Lawyers Leaders of Tomorrow competition of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Wolters Kluwer Publishing House. In 2018, he was 23rd in the ranking of the 50 most influential lawyers in Poland by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and in 2019 he was promoted to 15th position in the same ranking, becoming the "face of the GDPR in Poland".

He is also the author of the technology cycle in the Dzień Dobry TVN program and the podcast of the Onet editorial office and Komputer Świat "Technicznie Rzecz Biorąc".
