Doświadczenie naukowe i zawodowe zdobywała w prestiżowych instytucjach międzynarodowych, m.in. w Centrum Międzynarodowych Studiów nad Własnością Intelektualną na Uniwersytecie w Strasburgu, Międzynarodowym Centrum Szkoleniowym ONZ przy Uniwersytecie w Turynie, Europejskim Urzędzie Własności Intelektualnej (EUIPO) w Alicante oraz Światowej Organizacji Własności Intelektualnej (WIPO) w Genewie. Jej zainteresowania badawcze koncentrują się na złożonych relacjach między prawem własności intelektualnej a ochroną dziedzictwa kulturowego. W ramach pracy naukowej na Uniwersytecie Luiss realizowała projekt „Cultural Heritage and Fetishization of Distinctive Insignias in the Fashion Sector”, w którym analizuje zderzenie współczesnych mechanizmów ochrony prawnej z ponadczasowymi wartościami kulturowymi w sektorach kreatywnych. Dorobek dr Anny Zielkiewicz stanowi istotny polski wkład w rozwój nowoczesnych koncepcji ochrony własności intelektualnej oraz oznaczeń geograficznych w odniesieniu do dziedzictwa kulturowego. A lawyer specialising in intellectual property law, researcher and academic lecturer. Doctor of Law, currently employed at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, where she co-founded ILEO – Innovation Law and Ethics Observatory, a centre conducting interdisciplinary research on intellectual property, innovation and creativity. She gained her academic and professional experience at prestigious international institutions, including the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies at University of Strasbourg, the United Nations International Training Centre at the University of Turin, European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva. Her research interests focus on the complex relationship between intellectual property law and the protection of cultural heritage. As part of her academic work at Luiss University, she carried out a project entitled ‘Cultural Heritage and Fetishisation of Distinctive Insignias in the Fashion Sector’, in which she analyses the clash between contemporary legal protection mechanisms and timeless cultural values in the creative sectors. Her achievements represent a significant Polish contribution to the development of modern concepts of intellectual property protection and geographical indications in relation to cultural heritage. Her academic work and involvement in international research initiatives contribute to the prestige of the Polish science on the world stage.
