Od stycznia 2025 r. pełni funkcję Zastępcy Dyrektora Wykonawczego Urzędu Unii Europejskiej ds. Własności Intelektualnej (EUIPO). Wcześniej pełniła funkcję prezesa Urzędu Patentowego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Jest polskim i europejskim rzecznikiem patentowym, absolwentką Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego oraz posiadaczką dyplomu studiów podyplomowych w zakresie prawa własności intelektualnej Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. W latach 2014–2019, jako dyrektor Departamentu Znaków Towarowych w Urzędzie Patentowym Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, była zaangażowana w prace legislacyjne nad zmianami w ustawie prawo własności przemysłowej oraz we wdrażanie reformy systemu znaków towarowych w Polsce. Kierowała polską delegacją w grupie roboczej Rady UE zajmującej się pracami nad rozporządzeniem i dyrektywą UE w sprawie znaków towarowych. Brała udział w pracach organów Komisji Europejskiej, Światowej Organizacji Własności Intelektualnej, Urzędu Unii Europejskiej ds. Własności Intelektualnej oraz Europejskiego Urzędu Patentowego.

Deputy Executive Director of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) since January 2025. She served before as President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. Polish and European patent attorney, Demby-Siwek is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and holder of a postgraduate studies diploma in the field of intellectual property law at Jagiellonian University. Between 2014 and 2019, as Director of the Trade Mark Department at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, she was involved in legislative works on the amendments to the Polish Industrial Property Law and in the implementation of the trade mark system reform in Poland. She headed the Polish delegation in the working group of the Council of the EU involved in the work on the EU Trade Mark Regulation and Directive. She has participated in the work of the European Commission bodies, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office.
